I recently happen to watch this movie "Money Train" in Sony Pix and this took me 9 years back.
We guys were stuyding 12th std (Kola perumal chetty vaishnav senior secondary school). Our school had this cultural activity called "Kalasarovar". As we guys were the senior, we all went to other schools to invite them for the participation. The whole class was divided into groups and each group went to specific areas and covered the schools in that area (Ithulle girls school ku porathukku ore potti). None of us wanted to get back to school after the inviting the schools. So all planned for a movie. I was bit scared as it was like cutting the class (Namma than romba olungu pullaiyache!!!).
As per plan all guys (2,3 in each group) assembled at the Grand Theatre in Annanagar. [Grand theatre iruntha varikum, saw lot of english movies... so sad that it has been demolished and what we see there now is a Lancer showroom :( ]. We were all in school uniforms, got the tickets for "Money Train" and got into the theatre. I was still worried of bunking the classes and so was seeing here n there if some known person would watch me. But anyways as everyone was on duty (thats how we call when we go to other culturals or sports events)... there wouldnt have been any class. Though i couldnt really enjoy the movie throughout, coz of the fear... it was a good one.

About the Movie:
The movie casts include Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson and Jennifer Lopez (appo yaarune theriyathu). Both Wesley snipes and Woody harrelson are foster brothers (appadinna ennanu kekuringalaaa?... Namaa Agni natchathiram Karthik-Prabhu maari). Both are cops, unlike our karthik-prabhu, these two are good mates. Wesley takes a lot of care of his brother, while woody is bit playful boy. He looses money in gambling and wesley ends up paying to save him. In between there is this so called Money Train which carries huge money. Lot of tight securities are specially arranged for it. During some of the encounters by our foster brothers, the Money train is delayed and they are been warned. To add a flavour, heroine (vera yaaru, nammbe lopez than) is introduced as another cop and she joins these brothers. Both of them like her, but lopez likes wesley. After one more encountere woody is been dismissed, and wesley too looses his job on trying to save his brother. Wounded Woody plans to hijack the money train. Our hero wants to save his brother. Whether woody hijacks the train, does he get caught or is he saved by wesley is the remaining story. ( Ellam nammba ooru katha maarithan, but with good screenplay, effects and visualizations)
Worth a watch!!!
