New York is full of adventure. Last year in July I happen to be part of the Steam pipe explosion [Check it out here]. And this time yet was another exciting adventure that I happen to see in NewYork.
On Thursday, June 6th Sanki and I took a walk to Port of Authority from office instead of the train as we started early. As we were walking we could see lot of police vehicles with sirens crossing us. When we were almost near the port of authority we saw huge crowd and everyone looking at the top. We got curious, joined the crowd and started looking in the direction where everyone was seeing. It was the NewYork Times building and guess what, a guy was climing the 52 storey building from outside without rope or any other equipment in hand. He was almost to the top when we saw and then realised it was for this that the police vehicles were going for. The place was crowded, surrounded by police, couple of helicopters were flying. We heard from the crowd that this guy climbed illegaly from the bottom till the top but dint know the reason at that time. Then on search of google and youtube came to know that 2 guys climbed it on the same day, Alain Robert at 12 pm for global warming and Renaldo Clarke at 6 pm for Malaria. It was exciting but very scary though. Check out the article for more details and couple of videos on you tube.
